About Gloria’s Jugs
Hi, I’m Ella – one woman, two shaky hands, and a whole lot of clay.
I started Gloria’s Jugs in 2024 after life threw me a handful of medical plot twists and said, “Good luck!”
Between a benign brain tumour, Involuntary Motor Movements Disorder, Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), and daily non-epileptic seizures, holding down a “normal” job became impossible — but apparently starting a clay earring business wasn’t. Go figure.
I’m now a full-time maker, part-time plant whisperer, and an expert at turning chaos into colour.
Gloria’s Jugs is my way of staying creative, connected, and just a little bit cheeky. Every pair of earrings is handmade by me — sometimes slowly, occasionally upside down, but always with love (and tea).
Inspired by nature, colour, and everything slightly weird, my designs are bold, playful, and unfiltered — like your loudest friend at brunch.
The name? A cheeky nod to embracing joy, individuality, and not taking life too seriously.
